Official Working Visit of the Deputy Chief of BPS RI to BPS Sragen Regency

The Deputy Chief of BPS-Statistics Indonesia (BPS RI), Dr. Sonny Harry Budiutomo Harmadi, S.E., M.E., conducted an official working visit to BPS Sragen Regency. The agenda was held to directly provide guidance, insights, and motivation to all personnel at BPS Sragen Regency in order to drive the realization of higher-quality Indonesian statistics. Specifically, Mr. Sonny instructed all employees to continuously oversee and ensure the success of every stage of the 2026 Economic Census (SE2026). Strict supervision and periodic guidance for field workers were emphasized as key factors in maintaining the validity of field data.

Following the briefing at the BPS Sragen Regency office, the visit continued with a field inspection. Mr. Sonny directly observed the implementation of the Economic Census business data collection at the Sragen City Fish Seed Center (Balai Benih Ikan / BBI). This visit aimed to monitor the data collection process in the fisheries sector and ensure that the operations were carried out in accordance with the established standard operating procedures (SOP).

This working visit is expected to boost the enthusiasm and commitment of all BPS Sragen Regency staff in ensuring the success of the 2026 Economic Census to deliver reliable and high-quality statistical data.
