BPS Sragen Regency Holds Ceremony for the 81st Independence Day of Indonesia

he BPS-Statistics of Sragen Regency held a flag-raising ceremony to commemorate the 81st Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia on Monday, August 17, 2026. The solemn event took place in the courtyard of the BPS Sragen Regency office with a rich cultural atmosphere.

All employees and staff of BPS Sragen Regency attended the ceremony wearing traditional attire from various regions across Indonesia, ranging from Javanese, Sumatran, and Balinese costumes to traditional clothing from East Nusa Tenggara (NTT). This diversity of traditional attire symbolized the spirit of unity and diversity within the BPS working environment.

The ceremony commenced precisely at 07:00 AM WIB. Acting as the ceremony leader, the Head of BPS Sragen Regency, Mr. Eko Sugiharto, led the proceedings. A moment of solemn silence pervaded as the Red and White flag was raised to the solemn strains of the national anthem, Indonesia Raya.

The series of events concluded with the presentation of the Satyalancana Karya Satya awards to Civil Servants (ASN) for their dedicated service. Awards for 10 years of service were presented to Lely Rahmawati HS, Sendi Irawan, and Iis Ana N, while the award for 20 years of service was conferred upon Anisa Nuryana.

The festive atmosphere heightened when the committee announced the winners of the best traditional costume. The male category was awarded to Qori Muhammad, who wore traditional North Sumatran attire complete with ulos cloth, while the female category was won by Indah Nurvitasari, who appeared elegant in traditional West Sumatran dress.

Additionally, BPS Sragen Regency also recognized the outstanding performance of its staff. The Best Service awards were presented to Dodi Raharjo (May), Wahyu Eka N. (June), and Ridwan Nurkholis (July). Meanwhile, the Best Employee title was achieved by Aldino Yanke.
