Abstract

The percentage of poor people in Sragen Regency has increased from 13.380 percent in March 2020 to 13.830 percent in March 2021. This figure is equivalent to the number of poor people who are in the range of 122,910 thousand people in March 2021 or an increase of about 3,530 thousand people in a year the last, from 119.38 thousand inhabitants in March 2020.

In March 2021 the Poverty Line (GK) of Sragen Regency totaled Rp. 363,349,- per capita per month, an increase of 4.144 percent compared to the Poverty Line in 2020.

The Poverty Depth Index (P1) and the Poverty Severity Index (P2) experienced a slight increase. P1 rose from 2.175 in 2020 to 2,390 in March 2021 and P2 rose from 0.526 in 2020 to 0.600 in March 2021. This indicates that the average expenditure of the poor tends to increase away from the poverty line and the level of inequality in the expenditure of the poor is widening.
