Abstract

The export value of Central Java in August 2023 was US$ 885.75 million or an increase of 2.38 percent compared to exports in July 2023. However, compared to August 2022 exports decreased by 13.18 percent.
The import value of Central Java in August 2023 was US$ 1,241.26 million or an increase of 4.78 percent compared to imports in July 2023. However, when compared with August 2022 imports decreased by 21.40 percent.
The total trade balance value in August 2023 experienced a deficit of US$ 355.51 million. The oil and gas sector had a deficit of US$ 511.73 million, whereas the non-oil and gas sector had a surplus of US$ 156.22 million.
